What changed, what still matters, and which Discord pin to trust when a title card disagrees.
Arcane Lineage patches quietly rewrite trainer rooms, race tables, and the name over the Roblox thumbnail. This hub is the prose version of those shifts. For the live card, still use Discord and Trello.
Current thumbnail era: Withered Grove. The Roblox universe last published on 26 August 2026 and the tile did not change names. The headline since September 2026 is the Dark and Light rebalance that fundamentally shook the Super Class meta — Impaler to S, Necromancer significantly buffed with summoner gear, Hexer became essential support, and Assassin DOT builds notably nerfed.
Systems era underneath: New Horizons — the December 2025 pass that deleted Hard/Normal/Legendary and added Trials. Desert-season searches still say Unearthed. Public May 2026 writeups also talk about a from-scratch rewrite. All have pages so a video from the wrong season does not set your build. Visits sit above 128 million. There is still no redeem box. Grove added Corruption and unidentified gear. That is the live homework, not a fake code table.
How to read a patch
- Announcements first. If Discord and a YouTuber disagree, Discord wins.
- Check the September 2026 Dark and Light tier list for the rebalanced Super Class meta.
- Check whether your Base Class trainer moved. The class guide assumes Caldera still sells the five weapons; a patch can add a walk.
- Check whether a lineage was added. Ophimar-style names belong on the race page only after they are real.
- Check whether QTE rules changed. They almost never do. If a patch says it fixes dodge, test it in slimes before you take a boss.
- Check whether codes appeared. They have not. Destructoid’s May 4, 2026 pass still found nothing. The Codes Hub stays empty until they do.
- Check whether a rewrite headline is a real ship or a vibe. The rewrite watch is the rumor filter.
- Check whether a video still teaches Hard mode. It should not. Use New Horizons and Trials.
September 2026 Dark and Light Rebalance
The major September 2026 rebalance shifted the Super Class meta significantly. Read the updated tier list for the full picture. Key changes:
- Impaler: Moved to S tier with powerful gear combos and consistent damage
- Necromancer: Significantly buffed with new summoner gear (headband, golem rune core)
- Hexer: Became essential support with extended stun durations
- Assassin: Notably nerfed for DOT builds, especially against bosses
- Berserker: Nerfed on one-turn mega attack but still strong with HP management
Withered Grove
The current wrapper around the experience. New art, new thumbnail, and new reasons to open Trello. Read the Withered Grove notes before you copy a pre-Grove inventory video.
New Horizons
The systems pass that deleted the mode slider. Read the New Horizons notes if your bookmarks still say Soulmaster Hard.
Unearthed
The desert-season name and the Part 2 event recap. Ivory cosmetics, egg baskets, and a Super Class the recap skipped on purpose. Read the Unearthed notes before you wipe for a bunny pelt.
What never changed
Turn-based combat. Space on a bar. Five Base Classes in town. Party recommended. No redeem box. If a patch note claims otherwise, it is either historic or wrong. Our review still holds: this is a stubborn RPG, not a seasonal simulator.
After you catch up
Go back to a real task. Unlock a class, spend Soul points, or clear a boss. Updates matter. They are not a reason to stand in town rereading title cards.
If a friend sends a screenshot of a new trainer, treat it as a rumor until a Discord pin repeats it. Then update your route. Then play.
