Arcane Lineage Controls

The official Arcane Lineage description hides the control list under a flashing-lights warning. Here it is in one place, written for people who just died because they opened inventory mid-bar. Pair this page with the combat guide and the beginner route.

Keyboard defaults

Space is the combat key. If you rebind it, rebind it to something you can hit without looking. Mobile players tap the on-screen prompt instead; the window is the same, the thumb is slower.

Dash (Q)

Dash is not a dodge inside the turn. It is a field tool. Use it to leave a pack you cannot see, to reach a mat before you bleed out, or to catch a party that already started a pull. Spamming Q in town looks busy and does nothing for Essence. Save it for the moment you hear an encounter you are not ready to take.

Meditate (M)

M only fires on a mat. The important mats sit near Caldera spawn. Meditation is how you spend Essence and open the Soul Tree. It is also how you heal in a structured way once you are on Hard and gold heals cost money. Walk through the Soul Tree guide before you dump a full Essence bank into five levels at once.

If M does nothing, you are not standing on a mat. You are not broken. Move.

Inventory (B / tilde)

The status panel is where you confirm the race you rolled. That name in the corner is the lineage that set your starting stats. It is also where you see whether you actually equipped the weapon you just bought. New players buy a staff, forget to climb down, and wonder why the trainer will not talk. Open B. Look.

Do not open inventory when a boss bar is live. The QTE does not pause for your curiosity.

Space and Guard

Space confirms every timing minigame: defense dodge, partial red window, and the sword QTE on your turn. Holding Guard is the safe defensive option when you do not know the animation. The combat page is the long version. The short version: yellow is free, Guard is tuition, ignoring the bar is how you spend a life.

Location icons (Left Ctrl)

Caldera Town is small and still easy to lose. Left Ctrl toggles icons for NPCs and landmarks. Use it to find Yorn, the Bounty Board, the weapon shop ladder, and the mats. Once you know the loop, turn the icons off so you can see enemy tells in the field.

Mobile and console

The experience runs on PC, mobile, and console. The actions stay the same; the inputs become on-screen buttons. QTEs are harder on a phone because your thumb covers the bar. If you are serious about Super Class content, play on a device where Space is a real key. Party members on mobile should lean Guard more often and let a PC player call the yellow windows.

Accessibility note

The official page warns about flashing lights. The QTE bars are bright on purpose. If you are sensitive, lower Roblox graphics and sit farther from the screen before you farm a boss that chains slam animations.
