Arcane Lineage Guides

How to play, how to dodge, how to configure Trials, and how to stop dying in Caldera Town.

Guides Hub

Arcane Lineage does not hold your hand. The Roblox page lists five keys and then drops you into a turn-based RPG with lives, alignments, and a race you did not pick. This hub is the map of every walkthrough on the wiki. Use it when a search like “how to get a class” or “how to beat the first boss” lands you here.

If you just spawned, start with the beginner guide. It covers the Bounty Board, Yorn’s Daze quest, and the first weapon purchase. Difficulty is Trials now — not Hard mode. Read the Trials guide before you enable Greater modifiers. The Hard mode page is only a search bridge. The Essence guide is why field kills do not ding you. If the random race is already arguing with the weapon shop, open best class for every race. If you already have a class and keep eating hits, skip to the combat QTE guide or the party guide. The rest of the tree is for the questions that appear after the first hour.

How to play the opening hour

The first hour is a checklist, not a story. Grab Daze from Yorn, unlock Mator’s Encyclopedia, then hit level 5 and buy a weapon. Leave scary Trials off until yellow is reliable. The getting started page writes that loop in order. The controls page sits next to it so you are not guessing what Q, M, B, and Space do in a fight.

Party play is not optional flavour. The official description says solo makes the game harder, and that is still true. The party guide is the grouping version of that sentence. If you are learning the timing bar, a second player covers the hit you miss.

How to get a class and a Super Class

Base Classes unlock at level 5 after you buy a weapon and talk to the matching trainer. Warrior, Thief, Slayer, Martial Artist, and Wizard each lock a weapon type and a later Super Class fork. The class unlock guide lists the shop path and the trainer step. For the later fork, read the class roster and the Super Class tier list. Want the popular DPS sheet? Open the Assassin build.

Do not pick a weapon because the model looks cool. A staff into Wizard into Necromancer is a different game from a cestus into Martial Artist into Monk. The class picker exists so you can see the fork before you spend the gold.

How to get a better race

Your first race is random. Some passives love Arcane. Some love raw Strength. If the roll fights the class you want, you either buy another soul slot or you farm a Lineage Shard after level 10. The races page explains the reroll rules without inventing a fake odds table. The best class for every race page is the pairing rules: magic lean to Wizard, body lean to Warrior or Martial Artist, gold lean to Thief, flexible to whatever you will actually play.

How to beat early and late bosses

Bosses are party content. They hit harder than field slimes and they punish greedy sword QTEs. The boss guide covers party roles, when to Guard, and why Daze is the first skill worth chasing. The named late room people search as Handaconda has its own Handed Contender page. Metrom’s Vessel is the Temporal Jailhouse endgame seat after that. Pair either with a beginner build or a loadout if you want a stat spread that survives a missed dodge.

How to spend Essence and Soul points

Leveling is not a hidden XP bar. You collect Essence, stand on a mat, press M, and feed the orb in the Spirit Domain. The dedicated Essence guide is why field kills never ding you. Soul points are rarer and should go into health first for most new characters. The Soul Tree guide and the stat calculator keep those decisions from becoming a wipe. Trials multiply both when you can survive the restrictions.

How to unlock Grove Corruption and late identities

After the town loop, the live wrapper is Withered Grove. The quest players search now is how to unlock Corruption: Seraphon, Yorn, Cursed Grove, then a Moria dialogue that stamps Heresy, Blasphemy, or Tyranny. Do not spam-click that conversation.

Later identities sit on their own pages so the dropdown stays short. How to get Gynx is the obtainable tank lineage and a wipe. Lionheart is the Endurance Super Class builders pair with it. Handaconda is the late named fight whose loot starts that wipe. The Unearthed notes explain the desert-season search that still shows up under Grove art. New Horizons explains why Hard mode vanished.

Review and updates

If you are deciding whether to install the experience at all, read the Arcane Lineage review. For what changed in the current season, use the Updates Hub, the Withered Grove notes, the Unearthed recap, and the rewrite watch.

The PC nav dropdown shows eight titles and sends the rest here on purpose — use this hub when the list is long.

Trainers, Grove, lives, and named farms

After the town loop, the searches that actually show up are rooms and meters. Trainer locations is the handshake map for Base, Super, and subclass desks. Withered Grove location is the jungle hole off Caldera’s tree exit — not the Cursed Grove quest. Lives and wipes is the three-life meter, Phoenix Tear, and why you must not die on purpose for Hard mode. How to heal is the doctor, flask, and covenant restore menu. Yar’thul is the Mount Thul fire boss and the usual artifact farm. Thorian is the rot boss for Darksigil, Stellion Core, and the Void Key. Gold farm is the Tinker loop now that codes still pay nothing. Quests is Yorn, the spare-gold trap, and the Cursed cave. Citadel of Immortality is the Hammer Orderly Class dungeon in the desert layer.

Every guide on this hub interlinks. Read one, then read the sibling that answers the next “how to” in the same session.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which guide should a new player open first?

Start with the beginner guide, then the combat QTE page. Configure Trials only after you can dodge the yellow window on purpose.

Do these guides replace the Trello?

No. Trello still holds the live trainer maps and mob tables. These pages teach the decisions the boards do not explain.

Is there a video on every guide?

Only when a real YouTube video matches the topic. We never invent a video ID, and each page embeds at most one clip in the middle of the article.

Where did Hard mode go?

It was removed in December 2025. Use the Trials guide for multipliers. The Hard mode page is a search bridge only.
